A MISSION ABOUT
More than just shoes
Many local families struggle each year to provide shoes for their children to wear in the upcoming school year. Soles of Love wants children to know the excitement of a new pair of shoes when school starts. Partnering with community members and local businesses, we aim to provide a new pair of shoes for children in need throughout nearby counties in Frederick County and Washington County, Maryland.
SIGNATURE CHARITY EVENT
In the Garden
Our signature donation event began at the home of our founder, Julie Gaver, where we celebrated a magical evening of friendship, music, and community while meandering through the Gaver’s serene country property and beautiful gardens. Although we’ve outgrown Julie’s property through our 13+ years, we maintain the roots of our initial events and host a joyful gathering at an outdoor venue. Guests are asked to donate all the new children’s shoes their hearts will allow which are distributed throughout Frederick and Washington County, Maryland.
